You may have just lost heat on one side of the car, this means that one of the flaps has broken. Your car would need the repair that I offer. Many garages will charge you approximately £1000 to £1200 as for them it means removing the whole dashboard out of the car and being without your car for a few days. | I offer a repair solution that only involves taking the glovebox out, gaining access to the HVAC box and cutting it and replacing the flaps that control your heat, which means I can fix your car within a couple of hours. it does actually work and I have completed this procedure many times. I use brand new aluminium replacement flaps instead of plastic ones which were originally installed in these vehicles which are very flimsy. I get the parts shipped over to me from the USA. miles then you will struggle to find a better car for the money. If you are doing the miles, then it is easy and relatively cheap to convert to LPG which effectively halves your fuel costs. This is a reluctant sale but when a friend loans you his nearly-new Discovery for 2 years while he`s in Canada, it sort of forces the issue for all the right reasons... So a fond farewell to a great car. It has low miles for it`s age and no more dinks and scratches than you would expect on a ten-year-old car. The alloys are not in a great condition but the interior really is. The leather has hardly worn and the trim is all in really good condition. It has the Harman Kardon sound system and everything is electric.The miles are genuine and it has a service history to back this up as well as all recent invoices for work including new tyres, brakes, bearings, heating system (common fault cured with a guarantee as well). my Hubby a Nissan Navara, so he no longer needs his beloved Jeep. This is a 1998 Grand Cherokee in a deep bottle green colour. The paintwork/bodywork are in very good condition for the age of the vehicle, there is no noticeable rust to be seen, no major dents or scratches either. I`m not saying it`s in showroom condition but for a 1998 vehicle it is really tidy. The interior is full black leather and has no rips/tears or cigarette burns. The front seats are showing the normal signs of wear,(see picture). The deep grooves are just where the leather has softened with age but they have plenty of life left in them yet. The front seats are heated and have memory function on them as well, both in working order. There is also a fitted dog guard so ideal for dog lovers that take their pets out regularly and a factory fitted sunroof, ideal for the summer days to come! The Jeep has just flown through it`s M.O.T, a mere £50 had to be spent to get it through so this speaks volumes as far as it`s condition is concerned. The tyres have lots of tread left on them so it will be a while before the lucky winner has to part with any money, however you will need to tax the Jeep at the end of March! There are just over 103,000 miles on the clock, which for a vehicle of this kind is nothing. The engines are built to last and in the time that my Hubby has owned this, there have been no major issues. There is a towbar fitted to the Jeep so great if you own a trailer or caravan you use regularly. The best thing about this great Jeep is the economical LPG conversion. This is a real bonus, especially with the ever rising petrol prices. You can put gas in for between 65-70 pence a litre so it`s extremely cheap to run! My Hubby has enjoyed every minute of driving this 4x4, last July we went to Devon in it and it was like sitting in your armchair for the entire journey. Leather seats, head rests, running boards, tow bar, front seats are heated. Alloy wheels, all good tyres, very clean inside out out. 4.0 Litre 6 cylinder fuel injected engine runs like a dream. Body work wise it has some slight damage on front bumper and front bull bar. Paint work some small scracthes, but nothing heavy, body work is in good order. time has come to sell our much loved Jeep to make way for our new car, we`re sad to see it go but we just don`t have the space.We still have the receipt from when we bought the car from a dealer 1 year ago who had taken it in part ex for a range rover. We were also given the previous owner`s phone no. in case we had any questions or problems - we never had any. We have lots of receipts from previous work and servicing mostly at a Chrysler dealer and previous MOTs with advisories.The bodywork is in very good order with only some slight bubbling on the driver`s side window trim (easily replaceable) there are a couple of slight parking scars on the rear bumper but nothing major (see pics)The interior is in extremely good condition with no rips, tears or marks.
