Full dark grey leather interior in unmarked condition, all the carpets are in mint condition with no signs of wear at all. the jeep has all the usual extras such as air con/cruise control/heated electric seats/abs/electric windows ect ect. the rear windows have privacy glass for security but looks good also. there are also stainless steel side protection bars. although this is a very capable four wheel drive she has never been taken off road, to be honest it never even gets dirty, the alloy wheels did start to peel a little around the bolts so they have all been proffesionaly re conditioned and are all in perfect condition. The jeep has taxed and m.o.t so wants for nothing, the next service is not due until september. High and low ratio gears and 4x4 working as should I brought this in May last year for a bit of fun as I didn`t want to ruin my Fourtrak off roading but have never had time to off road it and I never wanted to as once I had cleaned it I realised it was much to good to abuse.So have done less than 200 miles in the eight months I have had it. It has all four electric windows remote central locking with two working remotes working cruise control electricaly adjustable front seats tow bar with twin electrics no advice notes at last Mot oil and filter,air filter and fuel filter renewed less than 200 miles ago. TJ 4.0 Sport.I`ve owned and loved this car for nearly five years and will be very sad to see it leave.I advertised the car last year but withdrew it from sale as I found it very difficult to let it go. Unfortunately, a change in circumstances means that I have to move it on.Condition - outsideThe Jeep is in excellent condition. Remember that it is heading for 10 years old, so don`t expect perfection. Mileage is about 50,250 at the moment.The faults that I`m aware of are:Small amount of rust bubbling in the folding windscreen surround panel, where it meets the rubber seal on the panel between screen and bonnet. Think it`s been there for 2-3 years without getting any worse - it may even have been there when I bought the car. Tiny bit of rust in the top corner of the driver`s door window frame, again has been there for years and isn`t getting any worse.Passenger door handle has lost some paint and consequently has surface rust, could do with a respray - decided that replacements were too complicated to fit for my big hands. May well do this before the Jeep is sold.Scuff to the nearside front fender flare, it`s actually a bigger scuff than shown in picture as I managed to do it again...Alloy wheels are starting to suffer from corrosion bubbling at their edges as is the way of Chrysler/Jeep rims.Other scratches and marks, that you would expect to see on a 3-4 year old car, not a nearly 10-year old. Underneath has been recently recoated with Waxoyl to freshen it up. This isn`t hiding anything - the supplying Jeep dealer did the same when I bought the car in 2007.The hood was replaced in 2009 with a Bestop Replace-A-Top with dark tinted rear windows to give it a more modern appearance. Hood remains as new, nice and watertight.Condition - insideExcellent condition again. I think everything is in place and works as it should. Seats are good and clean with no rips or tears and carpets are good too. Rubber mats front and rear.Condition - mechanicallyI have no reason to believe there is anything mechanically wrong the Jeep. It has been serviced regularly and any faults have always been dealt with, regardless of expense. It has always been serviced at a main Jeep dealer to keep up the history, but it is a very simple car to work on. It will be due its next service in April 2012.Extras and modifications - hundreds spent!I have fitted a number of tasteful (well I think they are) extras to the Jeep over the standard TJ Sport. Many of these have been sourced from Quadratec in the US and shipped over. The following are included or fitted to the car:Clear front indicators and repeaters. Cost about £40.Replaced `Euro` bumper end caps with US-spec caps to give a cleaner, more authentic look. Used original specification screws to attach end caps at a cost of £56.40 in 2008, plus new caps at £30.Alloy wheels with Goodyear Wranger tyres - 5-6mm tread remaining on tyres. Wheels were purchased from a Wrangler owner who had replaced his late-model TJ alloys with something a little larger. I think they had only covered 1500 miles, if that, when I bought and fitted them in 2007 for £400.Bestop High Rock fender flares (wheelarches) - bought to replace the original faded items. There is no central locking, in fact, I never bother to lock it.Fuel consumption has averaged 20-22 mpg since I`ve owned the car and road tax is £260 at the moment. Insurance is relatively low too for me (recently renewed at £195 fully comp).It`s not a sports car. It`s not a luxury saloon. It is what it is. A Jeep Wrangler that is fun to drive and really does bring on the grins when the roof is down or off in the summer. My father in law is a Jeep technician and i took with me to overall the car before i hand over the hard earned cash. As you can see from the pictures it is a very smart looking Jeep with lots of extras got to be one of the best for the money. Mot september 2012. Road tax june 2012. Some of the extras include. Genuine chrome bull bar. Genuine chrome side bars. Factory fitted rear parking sensors. Parrot in car bluetooth. Finished in metallic black with beige trim. Alloy wheels were refurbished about 6 months ago as they corrode commonly on jeeps. Had a full service 4 months ago inc genuine jeep oil filter, air filter, plugs and oil. Do not be put off by it being petrol as driven sensibly returns me an average of 24mpg if you buy a diesel fuel is more expensive, car is more expensive and they are sluggish and suffer with many problems that the bullet proof 4.0 does`nt. The LPG system was fitted in November 2004 at 54,578 miles and functions as it should. | The Grand Cherokee is a great car to own, and with the LPG system makes it very affordable to run. It is located in Poole. | The list of options is almost endless including electric tilt and slide sunroof, electric mirrors, electric windows, climate control, cruise control, radio cassette with 10 cd changer with steering wheel controls, full tan leather interior, roof bars, electric seats, tow bar with twin electrics and loads more! | The air conditioning needs a recharge, but last summer was nice and cold when needed. | All the electrics work well with the exception of the heated seats. Theres a few scuffs here and there and a tiny bit of rust above the drivers door (see pics) I don`t think the Jeep has ever seen any serious off-roading.I`ve had the Jeep for 2 years now and with having to cover more miles in work I need something more economical. I bought it on around 54K. I`ve got MOTs from 2007 onwards but I believe you can go online and get all the previous MOTs for cars these days - my last MOT was just a rubbish print out from the garage - I know the garage owner and always asked them to give it a check over. I have no reason to believe the mileage isn`t correct, its just too tidy to have done more. My previous Jeep had done about 70K odd and was good but not as good as this one (I would say that though but its true - I wanted an Orvis so bought this one) When I bought the Jeep it was in Glasgow (I live in West Wales) had a few long chats with the previous owner and managed to find one of the other previous owners on a Jeep forum. I get as much info as possible before setting off to fetch the Jeep - I even took my 8 year old daughter so was pretty sure it was a good one) We stayed in a hotel overnight and on the way home on day 2 the drivers window fell into the door frame. The little plastic key that rides up and down the frame had worn out - a common issue with the fix provided by the US Cherokee owners. I fixed it but it does not auto-stop when it gets to the top and bottom. It works fine just makes a bit of noise when it gets to the top. When I recently had a bash at making it auto-stop I haven`t fitted one of the links properly for the lock so the drivers door does not actually lock - I`ll fix this before it goes - its just one of those getting round to it type jobs. Everything else is spot on. I`ve also been asked about marks and such around the Jeep. The corners of the bumpers have a few grazes and theres a light-ish scratch going down one side - bit like a key line - but it isn`t too noticeable - I tried to show it in the picture of the close up of the one side of the body. When its polished you can`t really see it. The rust spots are more like blemishes above the drivers door and are no bigger than a 5p. Hope that helps. X | £1400.00 | |||||||

if your heater is blowing cold air with the heater controls set to maximum this means that the flaps inside the HVAC box have broken. You may have just lost heat on one side of the car, this means that one of the flaps has broken. Your car would need the repair that I offer. Many garages will charge you approximately £1000 to £1200 as for them it means removing the whole dashboard out of the car and being without your car for a few days. | I offer a repair solution that only involves taking the glovebox out, gaining access to the HVAC box and cutting it and replacing the flaps that control your heat, which means I can fix your car within a couple of hours. it does actually work and I have completed this procedure many times. I use brand new aluminium replacement flaps instead of plastic ones which were originally installed in these vehicles which are very flimsy. I get the parts shipped over to me from the USA. You cannot see this repair once the glovebox has been put back into place. This repair also retains the dual zone climate control originally installed on these vehicles.
